The Closing Ceremony of RoboCup Asia-Pacific (RCAP) Tianjin Invitational Tournament 2021 was held in the late afternoon of May 22, 2021 at the Tianjin Airport Sports Center.
Prof. Liu Li of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University in her capacity of General Chair presided over the Closing Ceremony. Ms Ma Yue, Assistant Director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University served as Master of Ceremonies.
In RoboCup’s 25 years history, this is the first official RoboCup International event held in an onsite – virtual hybrid format.
The resounding success of RCAP Tianjin Invitational Tournament 2021 ensures that future RCAP satellite events will be modeled after RCAP Tianjin Invitational 2021 and participants from all over the world, no matter where they are physically located, will be able to participate in RCAP events simultaneously in an onsite – virtual hybrid format.
VIPs & Guests from Tianjin Municipal Government, Academia and Industry as well as participants were present at the Closing Ceremony.
